Yerba Prima developed Psyllium Husks formulations to provide the highest cleansing activity of all fibers. Psyllium Husks formulations help to promote regularity, lower cholesterol and are 4-8 times stronger than oat bran. A daily fiber intake of at least 25 grams is recommended for good health, but on average people consume only 10 to 15 grams. Nutrition information per 4 capsule serving: Fiber 2 grams (approx. 1.6 grams soluble and 0.4 grams insoluble), Calories 1, Potassium 22 mg, Calcium 5 mg, Sodium <5 mg. Ingredients: Psyllium seed husks. Suggested Adult Usage: 4 capsules, one to three times a day. Directions: Start by taking 1 serving each day. Gradually increase to 3 servings per day as needed. Swallow one capsule at a time. Take each serving with at leat 8 ounces (a full glass) of water or other fluid. Drinking additional liquid is helpful. If minor gas or bloating occurs, reduce the amount you take until your system adjusts. Caution: Do not take capsules if you have difficulty in swallowing.
